Reflect.

Remember when we all ran to the computer last year to get the first few posts of the new year?  Now it seems like you all have too much of a life for our humble little blog. =(

Anyway just wanted to see how I did on my list from last year:

1) get a job (cause im a bum) (maybe this year....)



2) get my waist back (i cant find it =( ) hahahaha fail.


3) Make districts in track fro ore than 100m Instead, I gained a life-long friend whose's name is Terry =]


4) Get some freaking playing time in vball oh Terry


5) Convince my coach that i DO have potential Again, Terry


6) Start collage..... classes! Ha got u! WIN


7) be taller WIN


8) find Him.. though I think i'm gonna have to wait until collage for that one Well.... I made attempts.


9) find a freaking collage so I dont have to say "i dont know i just wannna teaching degree and run track" Progress made, though nothing achieved for certain


10) figure out my future so i can embrace it instead of clinging to my "peter pan syndrome" Actually... win =)


11) be sombody musically, someone who's better than people think I am (aka pass up Sean in MB) I didn't get a snare.  Instead, I got something better: respect.  I learned that being a Bass is harder than it looks, and that not being a snare doesn't make you not great.  In fact, it means that you work better with people.  And I believe this was a win, not because I grew musically, but because I grew in my self-worth.
 
 
So list for this year?  Why not.
 
1] Get a job
2] Bring my times down and rock the 4x100m (districts?!?!?)
3] Convince myself that I CAN just be friends with a guy
4] Continue my collage search, find one, apply
5] Try and get a track scholorship
6] Continue collage classes
7] Make a career plan
8] Select Ensemble here I come
9] Not nessicarily loose weight, but re-gain my curves that, Shelby so unfairly pointed out, are gone
10] Be Presidant of Band, hold and officer position in NHS
11] Learn to smile and be happy more often so I don't have my stupid random break-downs.

Revision

Ok.. it has occured to me the hardness of this contest. So I have revised it.
The rule where it states that it must make sense, has been revised to each Sentance must make sense.
The rule that says you have to go A-Z-A, has been changed so you just go through the alphabet twice. A-z, A-z

Knee Update!

Took ALL of the bandaging off for the first time tonight. Got a good look at where Terry is and then took LOTS of pictures! I'm pretty estatic. Here there are two of the pictures. As you can (probably not) see I have 8 stitches. 4 on the big one down the front, 3 in the one on top of that, and 1 on the side. The tiny band-aid on top is for the one tiny scab from where they pulled the guide needle through but you don't need to know that. =)

The Making of Alice

This is a short video of the making of Alice's sign. I decided, some way through, that I was going to take a picture everytime I added a color, and make a video... this was about 2 weeks ago but crips have a lot to do now-a-days. Enjoy!

I got an MRI tonight!!!! Going at eight!!! I'm SOOO siked to figure out what's wrong with me!!!

Boy Scout swimming and NYC

So I went swimming with the boy scouts today. I did the swim test twice.. and I swam.. a lot. Sigh I love chlorine!!!
Oh's and I went off the high dive for the first time! This little 5 year old did it and I went.. well that can't be so bad.... Then Brian Reed's little sister did it,.. and her friend did it.. so I thought "HEY! I can do this!" So as I was in line talking to B reed's lil sis the 17 year old dude behind me went "your afraid to do this? Dude i've been doin front flips off that all day!" To which i propmtly replied "Shut your face."
So I got out to the edge and the stupid 17 year old was standing on the other edge of the board (by the ladder). he obviously had no sense of safety cause that's pretty freaking dangerous considering if I was fat enough I could have bounced him off and he would ahve feel to utter peril, but that's besides the point. So he was saying "just step off!" I think he was trying to be helpful but he was really just annoying the heck out of me. So i did it.. and shook like a leaf the entire way down. Then i made my brother do it.. so ya. =)
And now im packing for nyc and putting new music on my iPod. It takes FOREVER though and I'll be up way to late.... oh well. I'm going to call it.. getting ready for the next few days of minimal sleep.... sounds good I'll take it!

Monday

Ok so here is moday's intinerary:

1:00- Arrive for filming
1:20- Pile into the "jeep"
1:30- Arrive to film "Battle of the Bulge"
2:00- Go and film "Operation Overlord"
2:45- Go and film "HItler's sucide"
3:10- Film VEday
3:20- Pile into the "jeep"
3:30- Film all the island scenes in the greenhouse
4:20- Pile into the "jeep"
4:30- Go and film "OMG Beach"
5:00- Film Willie randomly screaming for PH
5:05- Pile into the "jeep"
5:10- Arrive at Sarah's house
5:15- Film the cadence scene somewhere
We already said we would do it as a blooper.. we are doing it
5:30- Film anything we forgot/hang out

Ok and here's some vital info:

1. We need to at least attempt to look military. So wear some camo or at least som form of dark green. Perferably camo.. but not hunting camo. I'll be wearing my underarmor and camo pants. Remember, you can take your coat off to film, and then put it back on. That's what i'm doing.
2. YOU NEED TO DRESS WARM!!! I tried to space the itinerary so taht we will have alternating warm and cold filmings, but that doesn't excuse you from wearing a WARM coat, gloves, and socks (yes i'm talking to you Willie). Oh, and don't forget hats!!! Gosh I feel like a mother now thanks a lot guys!

Alrighty that's all I've got. If we do this as planned we will have extra time at the end. If we goof off, then we won't and we'll be working for a long time.

soooo in case you haven't already heard.. IMMA SUGAR BOWL!!! That's right, i'm the sugar bowl. to be paired with the creamer (julia frye or felicia stover if julia is too short). I'm going to be nice to Julia just because Felicia says taht julia is really excited about her part.
I changed my name again. I'm going to save you all this time the search and jsut tell you. It's music is my boyfriend in Thai.

Umm I prob wont be able to make the history proj meeting anymore because i'm cramming for districts with miss hall in the band room. we are going to cram until i get everything covered. should be fun. =l

Notifications.....

Ok so I have 4 notifications for you:

1. If you are tagging (which i know a lot of you are doing now and it makes me happy), then you have to seperate tags with a comma, not a space. Otherwise it is all one big tag. And that leads me to notification #2
2. We have a butt load of tags! I suggest that before you go typing in your tags, you click *show all* (it's right next to the box you lype your tags in) and see if the tag you want is already there. I say this because we have tags like *avatar* and then *avatar movie*. What's the difference? there is none. Or how about *kat* and *Katt*? *smiles* and *=)*? *sadface* and *=(*? You get the point.
3. Carnation sales are upon us. For the four of you who have so graciously volunteered a lunch to sit with me at the table (please don't comment a complaint about wanting to do this kat. I have a headache already about this stuff and u will jsut make it worse... don't act offenede either.. gosh) Anyway!! Here's what will happen in regards to that: i will retrieve teh envelpoe with money and slips from Miss Smith's room. Then we will hop in line, get our lunch and trot back to the sales table (which will be straight back the middle, by the windows) and sell and eat at the same time. I will deal withthe money... u can do the slips. Ok.. now that that has been announced....
4. I changed my name!!!! It goes along withthe poem i wrote.. =)

jolies on crack

Hey we're all here at the sleepover and jolie thinks we should sleep underground. And we swear that shes on crack! jolie sleeps in her basement. Really, she does. Anyway, this is jordan typing. AND I KICKED BUTT in the indian-leg-wrestling competition! And faith won in the DDR knockoff game. and we watched labrynth. And sam wonders what people were smoking when that movie was made. Jolie wanted to know if Jareth is a woman. The tight pants were so disturbing. You cant help but look there, its messed up and disturbing. And the low cut shirt with the giant necklace...OMJ thats screwed up.
Ahs and my (faith's) computer si too dang slow but we still managed to watch a spooof of New Moon and lots of other things!! Like old greg and strongbad giving strongsad caffine!!!
Ahh strongbad.. whatever would we do without you!! And Jordan cant believe that i'm still awake, but Malvey can testify to me being awake for a long time on the bus home from Coudy.. shebly 2!!

3. Multiple layers. I was outside the other day and i was all warm and toasty.. except for my legs cause they only had 1 layer. so layer up!


4. UR PLAIN BLACK SHIRT!!!!! if you don't bring ur shirt, you don't get a Christmas present. Simple as that.
5. Any movies, board games, or Kareoke CD's you want to bring. (I only have the demo cd for my machine.. Mom doesn't really like Kareoke, thus she does not support it's personal at-home use, but with u guys it'll be cool. =)
6. An attitude taht's ready to have fun! And be accepting of suprises.. muahahahaha
   

Sam, Jordan and Jolie, all of the above plus:

1. Sleeping bag and such
2. pjs and clothes
3. What ever u need to get through the morning.. The rest of the peeps will be here shortly after Noon. =)
