So my Essential question in english was What if humans didn't have consciences? Well, Rut blew mine out of the water by simply saying we'd all be phycopaths and i need to think about my question from a different angle.
So i thought about it and then i came up with a new one:
Are we born with a conscience or are we influenced by our surroundings (parents, friends, etc...), or maybe both?
I personally think that we are born with a conscience and it developes and expands as we get older and learn new things. What do you guys think?

ReplyDeleteIDK i think you might be right. But you could also look at it from the angle that when we're small and we do something wrong, we were scolded and told we did something wrong. Have you ever told a child that they did something wrong and had them ask why its wrong? And the only thing you can really think of to say is, it just is.lol You could probably teach a child the completely wrong thing about what is right and what is wrong, because we are taught everything, from how to walk and talk, to what is considered "acceptable behavior." But even with that, theres probably going to be that voice in your head saying, this doesnt feel right somehow. WOW this is a good question!
